This Multimillionaire in jail for Hitting friend’s puppy in stomach
A multimillionaire CEO who was caught repeatedly kicking a puppy on camera could face up to two years in jail.
Desmond Hague was captured kicking Sade, a one-year-old pinscher, in the elevator of a Vancouver apartment building in July.
In the shocking video, Hague can be seen kicking the dog, which belonged to a friend, in the stomach, before yanking its leash and swinging the animal round.
He has since resigned from his role as CEO of Centerplate Inc., a $6 billion dollar company responsible for providing snacks at entertainment and sports arenas across the US, including the Superdrome in New Orleans and the Javits Center in New York.
If Hague is found guilty of violation of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act he could face up to two years in jail, and a fine of up to $75,000.
After the incident, Hague initially agreed to attend anger management counselling, but calls for his dismissal still continued.
